She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Necessary and Elsie Bernadine Rogers Necessary; her husband Edward E. Elder; her son Jeff "Mountain" Elder; and her siblings, Helen Lowe and Harold Necessary.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Elder of Normal, IL; her grandchildren, Josh Kiblinger (Maria) of Houston, TX, Heather McLaughlin (Kevin) of Mackinaw, IL, Scott Elder (Jennifer) of Bloomington, IL, Jeremiah Elder (Leslie) of Bloomington, IL, Chelsea Elder White (Joe) of Portland, TN, Emily Elder Foley of Bloomington, IL and Logan Elder of Lexington, IL; her brother Joe Necessary (Jan) of Heyworth, IL; and her daughter-in-law Kim Elder of Lexington, IL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter.
