With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Irene Shifflet of Normal, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Deterding and Hazel Deterding (Dunlap); and her husband Raymond Shifflet. She is survived by: her children, Roger Shifflet (Bonnie) of McLean, Sherri Hester of McLean and Richard Shifflet (Susan) of McLean. She is also survived by granddaughters & three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren & eight step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Carle BroMenn Hospice or McLean United Methodist Church.
