He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Frederick; his children, Abbie Soltwedel (Jerry) of Bloomington, IL, Kerry Day (Stacy) of Normal, IL and Lori Fenemor of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Kyle Day, Steven Soltwedel, Tori Fenemor, Rachel Glenn, Kylie Fenemor Wolff, Nicole Day and Chase Day; and his great grandchildren, Ari Day, Kya Day, Hunter Day, Hayden and Rayleigh Day.

Memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors, ASPCA, Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cheyenne River Reservation.
