He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zazzara and Mabel DeNardo Zazzara; his spouse Beverly Demos; his son Michael Zazzara; his siblings, Harry Hill and Harriet Rostowsky; and his grandson Joshua Zazzara.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Ann Grabavoy (Ned), Tammy Sullins of Cado Mills, TX, Louis John Zazzara Jr. of Portage, IN, Nick Zazzara (Sally) of Herrin, IL and Kim Linde of Foley, MO; his grandchildren, Natalie Watkins (Kevin), Tiffany Grabavoy (Wayne), Ned Grabavoy, Jr. (Monica), Nicholas Grabavoy, Kristina Starr (Dan), Kimberly Hoover (Richard), Jill Wausson (Walt), Bradley Sullins (Allison), Louis John Zazzara III, Raegina Luciano (Elijah) and Timothy Crosson; his sister Jo Ann Zazzara of Normal, IL; his brother-in-law Joseph Rostowsky of Normal, IL; and his cousin Francis (Anna DeMarco). He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Joliet, IL.The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
