NORMAL-Loretta 'Kaye" Mowery Comerford, 75, of Normal, passed away at 10:51 PM on Saturday July 21, 2018 at OSF HealthCare Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria. Her funeral service will be at 12 PM on Saturday July 28, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service from 10 AM to 12 PM and burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Stanford. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, 8630 IL St Rt 91 Peoria, Illinois 61615, or The Baby Fold, 108 East Willow St Normal, Illinois 61761. She was born in Stanford on April 22, 1943 a daughter to Leo and Hazel Kathryn Poole Mowery. She married William "Bill "Comerford in Bloomington on December 18, 1989. He preceded her in death in 2008. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Hollonbeck (fiancé Cary Block), Normal; son, Chris (Julie) Hollonbeck, Peoria; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Megan, Jeniffer, Kalyn, Braydon, Alexis; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Joslyn, Paisleigh; sisters, Faye Zillinski, Bloomington, Marlene (Ken) Walker, Arizona; brother, Jim Mowery, Florida; her dear friend Kathy Gee, Normal; and her beloved dog, Merry. She was preceded in death by her parents.
