He is survived by: his parents, Richard Elwood and Jean Thompson Allison; his spouse Erma Stotler; his children, Amy Melgosa (Mark), Mike Allison (Kayla Dameron) and Nikki Dyas (Nick) of Lakeland, FL; his stepchildren, Mary Springob (Chuck) of Sycamore, Laura Edwards (Randy) of Hudson, Matt Stotler (Stacey) of Danvers, Ginger Stiles of Downs and Sheila Kraft of Pendleton, IN.; and his siblings, Connie Hardesty (Dan), Cathy Allison-Zeine, Jerry Allison (Diane Stonestreet) of Chenoa, Tony Allison (Julie) of Lostant and Dawn Allison-McGrew of Eureka. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois, Normal.
