He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Sampson and Eva Greene Sampson; his siblings, Johanna Nelson, Fern Draper, Eva Wimberly, Martin Sampson, Carl Sampson and Ever Sampson; his son Kurt Haas; and his grandchildren, Ericka Sampson, Marcie Nichols, Zoey Haas and Jeremiah Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Haas; his children, Diana Hickey (Ronald), Valerie Martin, Jeannine Sampson, Marnie Smith (William), Gerald Sampson and Michelle Sampson; and his stepchildren, Lillian Howell, Raymond Haas (Donna), Timothy Haas, Francis Haas, Russell Haas (Myrna), Clyde Haas and Frank Haas (Bonnie).
