It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Rose Ripper (Normal, Illinois), born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson E. Scherer and Alice F. Scherer (Tackman); her husband Delbert Ripper; and her sister Norma Breedlove. She is survived by: her daughters, Alisa Rose Bayston (Fred) of Normal, Anna Marie Atkins (Rick) of Kappa, Adel Sue Schroerder (Greg) of Normal and Anita Jo Fongers (Jim) of Spring Lake, Michigan.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorials in Josephine's memory may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Sand Prairie or to OSF Hospice.
