He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Savage and Catherine Savage (Minneci); his siblings, John and Rose Trainor; and his son Joseph L. Savage.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Creamean of Normal, Illinois; his children, Randall Savage (Shelly) of Marseilles and Kathryn Marx (Dick) of Bloomington; his grandsons, Christopher Marx of Normal and Curtis Marx (Tainah Espindola) of Uberlandia, Brazil; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Taylor, Tyler Marx, Rafael and Noah Espindola Marx.
