It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jon W. Etcheson of Normal, Illinois, born in Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace C. Etcheson and Marian Etcheson (Lewman); and his sister-in-law Jenny Lu Etcheson. He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Haeffele; his spouse Kathyrn Kelley (Smith); his children, Amy Hadank (Andy), Matthew Etcheson (Sarah) and Bethany Kalush (Kurt); and his siblings, Jerry Etcheson (Jewel), Jay Etcheson and Jane Heineke (Tom). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carle Cancer Center of Normal or to the Mennonite College of Nursing-Illinois State in care of the Jenny Lu Etcheson Endowed Scholarship.
