He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Byrd and Elizabeth Byrd (Blind); his sisters, Debbie Mosson and Paula Byrd; and his niece Breanna Mosson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Becky Hobbs (Mike), Bellflower, Hank Byrd (Sheila) and Peoria; his children, Jason Osborne (Stephanie), Sharon Orendorff, Bloomington, Wesley Byrd (Jasmine), Normal, Joshua Byrd, Kelsey Byrd (Kelsey), Katie Ladew and Stanford; and his grandchildren, Kristie, Amanda, Philip, Sarah Osborne, Jaime, Austin Orendorff, Faith Standford, Breanna Scultz, Wesley Jr., Ilyan, Maryssa, Makayla, Avery, Zoey Byrd, Elle, Lillian, Molly Ladew, Oreo and Brownie Byrd.
