He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Elizabeth Hanson Meier. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Prunty; his children, Jeff Meier (Becky), Gary Meier, Teresa (Bob), Jayne Wildhirt (Jesse) and John F. Meier; and his grandchildren, Alex, Dylan Meier, Whitney Boitnott (Brandon), Allison Arthur (Ryan), Aimee Ubriaco, Alicia Felicelli (Kenny), Nicholas Wildhirt, Sean and Kaelyn Meier. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and his twin brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Epiphany School.
