He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Williams and Hazel Williams; his wife JoAnn Carlson Bloomberg; and his son Josef Bloomberg. He is survived by: his children, Jim Bloomberg (Mary) of Berwick, IL, Gina Williams (Sam Waddell), Dennis Williams (Nancy) and John A. Williams II (Jacqueline). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and his brother in-law.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Centennial Christian Church, Bloomington, IL.
