He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Manns and Ada Sanders Manns; his wife Lola Phifer; his daughter Adissa Afful; and his sisters, Ella Manns and Etta Young.
He is survived by: his former spouse Justtine Jones; his children, Dallas Manns of Champaign, IL, Tommy Manns (Cathy), Jesse Manns Jr., Lena Manns, Peggy Manns, Paul Manns (Sharon) and Faye Manns; and his sister Helen Thomas of Rochester, NY.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Rev. William Johnson will be officiating. The service and visitation will be limited to 50 persons and a face mask is required.
