He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen McGivern and William McGivern; and his brother Charles McGivern. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Kafer); his children, Julie Nourie (Jason) of Normal, IL, Mike McGivern (Kim) of Tampa, FL and Lisa Kozlen (Kevin) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Madelyn, John, Brady and Bailey; his brother Tom McGivern (Billie); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Ann McGivern, Eleanor Mott (Jim) and Ken Kafer (Bernie).
