She is survived by: her husband Sammy Kahwaji; her children, Melanie Gray (Matthew) of Normal, Michael Kahwaji (Laura) of Bloomington and Gregory Kahwaji (Robyn) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Lexi Powell (Charlie), Kale Kahwaji, Samuel Kahwaji, Anthony Kahwaji, Joseph Kahwaji, Grace Gray and Annie Gray; her great grandchild Evelyn Powell; her brother Douglas McKarus; and her nieces and nephews, Jeff, Steve, Jillian, Greg and Lauren.
