She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Crick and Dolores Rondot Crick; her husband Myron C. "Jake" Auer; her sisters, Phyllis Imbody (Dan) and Martha Crick; and her grandson Brandon Auer.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Auer (Donna) of Normal, IL, Brenda Weir (Lloyd) of Normal, IL, Beth Armstrong (Tom) of Streator, IL and Bruce Auer (Wendy) of Normal, IL; her grandchildren, Julie Watson (Troy) of Bloomington, IL, Lee Eilts (Mary) of Kansas City, MO, Alex Auer of Nashville, TN, Michael Eilts of Kansas City, MO, Cody Auer of Normal, IL, Travis Auer of Bloomington, IL and Jacqualyn Eilts of Ottawa, IL; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma Watson, Melanie Copeland, Jordyn Taulbee, Florence Eilts and Jameson Auer; her brothers, John Crick (Pam) of Columbia City, IN and Jim Crick (Kathy); and her close friend Bonnie Moser (Janet).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Normal First United Methodist Church (211 N School St, Normal, IL 61761).
The family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, Normal IL or the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
