He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Sheckler and Muriel Sheckler; his wife Dona Harl of Normal, IL; his daughter Deb McCubbins (Steve) of Normal, IL; his granddaughters, Kelli and Amy McCubbins of Normal, IL; and his siblings, Keith Sheckler of Springfield, Delores Postin of Fairview, IL. and Don Sheckler.
Due to covid restrictions, a private burial service will be held at Evergreen cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Normal.
