He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Arnum and Elsie Mae Woods White; his wife Ina "Carol" James; his children, Steven White (Marilyn), Susan Marshall, Stewart White (Tammy) and Shawn White (Cheryl); and his siblings, Shirley Melton and Merle White. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
