He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Peverly and D. Isabel Peverly (Ferrill); his wife Jane Gustafson; and his grandchild Fiona Cowsert. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Peverly (Tim Cowsert), Paul Peverly (Terri), Catherine Stone (Eric), Peter Peverly, Mary Peverly (John Wells, III) and Angela Peverly (Erick Pasciak); his grandchildren, Henry, Oliver Cowsert, La'akea, Pono, Lena Peverly, Andrew, Ethan, Siena, Sydney Stone, Elliot, Nathan Simeroth, Theodore, Benjamin and Gwendolyn Pasciak; and his siblings, David Peverly (Pat), Howard Peverly (Donna) and Elizabeth Schnitzler (Marvin).
Donations toward the purchase of a memorial bench and tree in George's honor can be directed to the Peverly family.
