He was predeceased by: his former wife Nanette Rusk Groves. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Groves of Normal; his sons, Rick Groves (Kriz) of Renton, WA, Ted Groves (Jane Cuthbertson) of Belchertown, MA and Steven Groves (Laurie) of Orlando, FL; his stepdaughter Caroline Swartwood (Rich) of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Harland L. Groves (Joan) of Mansfield, OH; his grandchildren, Tiffany Groves, Jay Groves, Henry Groves, Will Groves, Hannah Groves, Ryan Swartwood, Caitlyn Swartwood and Eric Swartwood; his great grandchildren, Lexie Roberts, Natalie Groves, Maci Johnson, Quincy Johnson and Emma Groves; his great great grandchildren, Julian Williams and Jamir Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Jenny Groves, Connie Groves, Alison Kelso, Brady Groves and David Ashcraft.
