She is survived by: her children, Dyvonne Gunn, Patricia Thompson of Bloomington, Oscar Thompson of Bloomington, Cynthia Williams (Anthony) of Normal and Kimberly Veal of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Lashawn Thompson, Latoya Thompson, Charles Shively, Jr. (Carmelita), Chranda Shively, Lisa Thompson, Reginald Shively, Laverne Thompson, Melody Motley (Brandon), Latricia Thompson, Jazzman Thompson (Rachel), Marcus Thompson, Tabyrus Thompson and Nikaela Thompson; and her siblings, Georgia Haywood, Viola Davis, Teola Briggs, Evelyn Mitchell (Mitchell), Mildred Seals, Myranne Cooper (Melvin), Jeremiah Walker and Maurice Walker. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
