She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaede and Mabel Barber Gaede; and her husband Robert O. Weakly. She is survived by: her children, Cyndy Johnson of Normal and Jack Weakly (Shelly) of Bloomington; and her sister MaDonna Klendworth (Carl) of Dana. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Filger Library in Minonk.
