Emma Lee Edwards Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2020, at the age of 75, Emma Lee Edwards (Normal, Illinois), born in Frenchmans Bayou, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Edwards and Pearl Lee Johnson (Wilford); and her grandparents, Luther and Georgia Wilford. She is survived by: her stepfather James Johnson of Bloomington; her siblings, Herman Johnson (Daisy) of Springfield, Sylvester Johnson of Normal, John Johnson of Bloomington, Michael Johnson of Indianapolis, Donald Johnson (Lisa) of Bloomington, Kenneth Johnson (Carolyn) of Bloomington, Bobbie Johnson of Bloomington, Josephine Sargent (Francis) of Peoria and Leatha Martin (Jeff) of Shelbyville, Indiana; and her close friend Ella McKissack of Chicago. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
