She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Totterer and Marie Palm Totterer; her children, Jim Stokes (Colleen), Joe Stokes (Cindy), Mary Simpson of Hudson and Dorothy Nordine (George) of Normal; her grandchildren, Jennifer Scheets (Geoff), Kristin Ward (Finley), Sean Stokes, Ashley Stokes, Corey Simpson, Katie Simpson, Luke Nordine (Laura Marks) and Casey Nordine; her great grandchildren, Harper Scheets and AnneDay Ward; her sisters, Eleanor Long and Marguerite Parsons (Gene); her husband John; and her son-in-law Steve Simpson. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
