He is survived by: his children, Ashley McConnell of Clarksville, TN, Erik McConnell (Karen) of Normal, Kelsey Clemons (Charlie) of Normal and Kayla Van Valey (Joe) of Normal; his grandchildren, Devon Gray, Henry McConnell, Fredward Van Valey, Levi Schroeder and Paytyn Gray; and his former wife Pamela McConnell of Normal. He is also survived by three sisters.
