He is survived by: his children, Jeff Nichols (Corrie) of Boca Raton, FL, Randy Nichols (Scott Herbig) of Jeffersonville, IN and Kristi Nichols (Len Childers) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Haley, Dylan, Ethan, Colin and Payton; and his former wife Marlis Nichols.
