He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Scott (Dan) of Schaumburg and Amber Joplin (Mike) of Wendel; his grandchildren, Nathan Towery, Katie Scott and Jessica Scott; and his sisters, Brenda Towery of Ohio, Beckie Comstock (Ron) of Havana and Judy Martin.
Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Towery's name to the Salvation Army.
