She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everett Virgil and Olivia Ione Ohlman Evans; her former husband Jerry Gibbons; her sons, Evan Gibbons (Kristi) of Normal and Andy Gibbons (Meghan) of Downers Grove; her grandchildren, Lane, Erin, Tyler, Alyssa and Leah Gibbons; her former husband Jamie MaGirl; her sister Mary Lou; and her husband William Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
