With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis L Ludwig of Normal, Illinois, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elza and Florence Brotherton (Fisher); his wife Carol Ann Ludwig; his children, Brian Ludwig (Bobbi) of Chenoa, IL, Steve Ludwig of Bloomington, IL and Stacey Ashenbremer (Martin) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchild Skyler Hannah (Mark); his children, Jessi Schwinn (Brigham), Alli Leacock, Park Leacock (Sara), Joshua Ludwig, Brenton Ludwig, Kerestyn Hall (Chris), Lauren Ludwig, Samantha Ashenbremer, Taylor Ashenbremer and Victoria Ashenbremer; his great grandchildren, Novie, Adalyn and Greyson Hannah; his grandchildren, Maisley Hall, Friedrich, William Schwinn and Henry Leacock; his sister Penny Menssen (Kurt) of Eureka, IL; and his nephews, Mike (Sandy) and Kevin Mennsen. He was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
