Carlson of Normal, Illinois, born in Ellsworth, Illinois, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roberts and Fenella Roberts; and his brothers, Kenneth and Lowell. He is survived by: his wife Joan McGraw; his daughter Rebecca Grider; his granddaughters, Natalie Grider (Alex Chapman), Megan Grider and Ann Marie Grider; and his siblings, Alice Carlson, Barbara Cooper (Charlie) and Lyle Carlson (Alice Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois or to Epiphany Catholic Church.
