With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Ley of Normal, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Connie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward M. Ley and Jean Estelle Ley. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Ley (Marsha) of East Haven, CT and Maryann Zaroda (Donald) of Easton, PA; and her nieces, Kathleen Gavigan (Ryan) of Guilford, CT, Tricia Quilter (Michael) of Charlton, MA and Megan Zaroda (Aaron Mullenaeux) of Easton, PA..
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church (1209 W Locust St, Bloomington, IL 61701). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bloomington, IL or to the Community of St. John, St. Joseph's Priory, 11223 W. Legion Hall Rd., Princeville, IL 61559.
