He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nancy L. Baker, John Halihan and Michael Day. He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Halihan and Carol Baker Halihan of Hudson, IL; his spouse Daria Dodonova; his sisters, Cortney Rathbun (Dan) of Bloomington, IL and Caitlin Halihan of Hudson, IL; his grandparents, John R. Baker of Clinton, IL, Sheila, Art Corbin of Bloomington, IL. and Kathleen Boehle of Normal, IL; his parents-in-law, Maria, Valeriy Dodonova and Russia; his sister-in-law Anna Dodonova; his nieces, Hazel Mae Rathbun and Isabelle Rose Rathbun; and his nephew James Patrick Rathbun. He is also survived by aunts' uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to PATH for suicide prevention.
