He is survived by: his wife Valerie Burke; his sons, Michael Smeltzer (Shannon) of Bloomington and Bobby Smeltzer of Bloomington; his grandsons, Bryce and Lucas Smeltzer; his sister Jewell Smeltzer of Superior, WI; and his sister-in-law Sue Smeltzer of Decatur.
