Charles Weaver Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2021, at the age of 95, Charles Weaver of Normal, Illinois, born in Sledge, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmond Weaver and Welsie Martian Weaver; his grandmother Lizzie; his siblings, Hattie Mae, Lizzie Mae, Lillie Mae, Ethel Lee, Necie of Christine, DC, Rosie Lee of Ideal, AW, Gerialdine, Bertha Lee and Harbert Jr.; his children, John Weaver, Marian Jones of Hazel Crest, Venus Commander of Chicago and Cherlvise Lowe Johnson; his former spouse Willie Jean Foster; his grandchildren, Willie Foster, Charles Foster and Linda Moore; his stepchildren, Shelia Harris of Bloomington, Linda Foster of Bloomington, Yolanda Walker of Chicago, Eugene Foster, Jr. of Lassing, Jeanette Foster of Springfield and Carlene Foster of Chicago; and his wife Mattye Mason (Willie Jean Foster). He was also cherished by twenty-six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
