Bonnie G. Gehrt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie G. Gehrt of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bristow (Jack) and Doris Bristow; her husband Paul O. Gehrt; her son Jonathon Gehrt; and her siblings, Marilyn Bristow Jordan, Lois Bristow Dungan, Jack Bristow, Duane Bristow, Nancy Bristow Imig Bentley and Larry Bristow.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Leggett of Jefferson City, MO, Stephen Gehrt (Debra) of Evans, CO and Paula McElroy (Donnie) of Clarksville, TN; her daughter-in-law Shelly Gehrt (Jonathon) of Kappa, IL; her sisters, Marcia Todd (Pete) of Bloomington, IL and Linda Elias of El Paso, TX; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Abbey Krueger, Gregory Abbey, Jimmy Leggett, Jennifer Gehrt Lojuk, Terry Gehrt, Kristi Gehrt Higgins, Dustin Gehrt, Kara Gehrt Booras, Brian McElroy, Angela McElroy Peacock, Sarah McElroy Smith-Prokosch and Matthew McElroy. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.
