She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Walinski and Rose Wijacki Walinski; her husband Anthony J. Valone; her son Tony Jr.; her sister Esther Lewaniak; her children, Julie Johnson (Mike), Nancy Overstreet (Bill) of Bend, OR and Tom Valone (Joy) of Buffalo, NY; her grandchildren, Anne Nicholl (Luke), Kaitlyn Johnson (Jameson Mundy), Keller and Beren; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Wyatt, Emmett Nicholl and Jasper Mundy; and her brother Richard Walinski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pediatric Diabetes Research Center (PDRC) c/o, OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois.
