He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Liberta and Josephine Liberta; his wife Susan Fitch; and his sons, Andrew Ross Liberta and Marc Robert Liberta.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Liberta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Epiphany Catholic Church (1000 E College Ave, Normal, IL 61761). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois State University Foundation, Normal, IL, Knox College Endowment, Galesburg, IL or the American Rose Society Educational Endowment, Shreveport, LA.
