He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert, William and Patrick Molitor; his son Edward John Molitor; and his wife Billie Wand (Buck).
He is survived by: his children, Christine Molitor, DiAnn Stephens (Keith), Rodney, Russell, Rick Molitor (Misty) and Angel McLennan (Matt); his stepchildren, Rick (Jen), Denise (Mack) and Tony Mefford; his grandson Brandon Mefford; his siblings, Daniel, Steven Molitor and Kathleen "Cam" Piefer (Jim); and his caregiver Mel Grindy. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Furlong Funeral Chapel (100 Caroldon Ct, Galena, IL 61036).
