It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lillian Whitlow of Nokomis, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Logan Lee and Virginia Starling (Newberry); and her husband Pete Whitlow. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Taylor (George) of Litchfield and Ann Whitlow (Dean Stevens) of Lombard, Illinois.; her grandson Derrick Osborn (Sarah) of Tower Hill; her great grandchildren, Brantlee, Etta, Hattie Ann and Elias Osborn; her stepgrandchildren, Natalie and Braelyn Stevens; and her sisters, Kathryn Mohn of San Antonio, Suzanne Howell of Morton, Sally Miller of San Antonio and Patty Yaris Jones (Jim) of Decatur, Illinois..
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home- Nokomis (200 E State St, Nokomis, IL 62075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Family Funeral Service. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Nokomis Cemetery (20185 Nokomis Rd, Nokomis, IL 62075).
