It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tolly Goldsmith Jr. of Nokomis, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tolliver "Tolly" Goldsmith and Helen "Thelma" Goldsmith (Shelton); his grandparents, Thomas T. Goldsmith, O. J., Bertha Barringer (Meier), Thomas W. Shelton, Robert Drew, Albert and Ruth Black (Powis); and his siblings-in-law, Elsie Goldsmith (Bell), Raymond Gulley and James Graden.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his siblings, Harry Goldsmith (Janet) of Madisonville, TX, Larry Goldsmith (Joan) of Taylorville, Joyce Gulley of Pana, Linda Hinton (Terry) of Witt and Wilma Graden of Nokomis; his in-laws, Paula and Twila Presnell of Wenonah; and his brothers-in-law, Greg Presnell (Jennifer) of Nokomis, Brent Presnell (Rhonda) of Wenonah and Jeff Presnell of Coalton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
