She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph R. Holmes and Anna Olive Holmes (Sanders); her spouse Leslie A. Johnson of Paul's Lutheran Church; her granddaughter Lacy Johnson; her great grandchild Reagan Johnson; her sisters, Mildred Dixon and Janelda Hill; her brothers-in-law, William Downs, Robert Hill and Carroll "Dusty" Herzog; her stepfather John Bauman; and her stepbrothers, Earl Bauman and Paul Bauman.

She is survived by: her children, Lamar Johnson (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL, Glenn Johnson of Springfield, IL, Arthur Johnson (Ann) of Evansville, IN, John Johnson (Jan) of St. Louis, MO and Colleen Johnson Winkler (David) of Benton, KY; her grandchildren, Rodney Johnson (Tammy), Teri West (Todd), Kris Johnson, Linen Irizarry (Pablo), Lea Johnson, Brent Johnson (Cindy), Hannah Johnson, Tyler Johnson (Amy), Rana Brown (Cameron), Stephanie Winkler (Zach Shinall) and James Winkler; her sisters, Dorothy Downs of Taylorville, IL and Jean Herzog of Excelsior Springs; and her brother-in-law Harold Dixon of Jacksonville, IL. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
