He was predeceased by: his brother Randy; his stepsister Paula Stawicki; and his stepparents, Linda and Claude Pearson, Jr.. He is survived by: his child Myotonic Dystrophy; his wife Tawny McElroy; his parents, Paul Dean and Waneta Maxine McElroy; his brothers, Ronald "Ron" (Janet) of Hillsboro and Roger (Kay) of Bunker Hill; and his pet Riley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
