It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Niemi of Nokomis, Illinois, born in Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Carl Niemi of Nokomis; her son Shane Niemi; her grandchildren, Brady and Lilly of Edwardsville; her daughter Shannon Hicks (Niemi); her grandchildren, Hunter and Maddie of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and her siblings, Joyce Stoddard (Jerry) of Quincy, Brenda Clavin of Nokomis and Gary Dodson (Kathy) of Newton.
