He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Westenberger (Scharf) and Ben Westenberger; his wife Rita Catgenova; his son Dr. Pete Westenberger; his son-in-law John DeWerff (Jeff); and his siblings, Bernice, Marie, Ben Jr., Vernon and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughter Penny DeWerff of Nokomis; his daughter-in-law Julie Westenberger; his grandchildren, Dr. Michele Wood (Sam) of O'Fallon, Stephanie Flowers (James Kropid) of Springfield, Jacob Westenberger of Colorado Springs and Dominique Westenberger of Ft. Collins, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Adrienne Brady (Chris), Aaron Lipe, Jack and Isabella Wood; his great great grandchild Caiden Brady; and his sister Gloria Mueller of Wentzville. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
