He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Hopping and Ruth Pedigo Hopping; and his siblings, Mary, Marge, Paula Jean, Paul, Jerry, Doyle Hopping and Buddy.
He is survived by: his children, James Hopping (Christine) of Nokomis, Lisa Pettet (Glenn) of Oakford, Jennie Curtis (Randy Izzard) of Kilbourne and Susan Hopping of Petersburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
