It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Katherine Barnstable of Nokomis, Illinois, born in Rosamond, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Buchholz and Mary K. Schmidt; her husband Cecil H. Barnstable; and her siblings, Lloyd Buchholz and Vivian Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Cochran (Charles) of Nokomis, IL; and her grandchildren, Sandra McBride (Robin) of Monahans, TX, Scott Bradley of Mooresville, IN, Sonya Maretti of Nokomis, IL and Steve Bradley (Donna) of Franklin, IN. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Eleanor's honor may be made to South Fork United Methodist Church, St. Louis Catholic School, or the Nokomis Food Pantry.
