He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Sophie Stombaugh, Karter Kirkendoll and Maddox Matthews; his wife Joyce; his brother Darwin D. Matthews (Brenda J.); and his children, Daniel K. (Sydney) and Dorothy K. Padgett (John). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Memorials may be given to the Illinois Presbyterian Home of Springfield, IL.
