He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Bus" and Marjorie Compton. He is survived by: his spouse Brenda L. Miller; his daughters, April Drake (Jeffrey) of Sullivan and Laura Compton of Springfield; his granddaughter Emma Drake of Sullivan; and his siblings, Loren Compton (Christine) of Nokomis and Carol Beeler (James) of Nokomis. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
