It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cora Marie (Kessen) Pieper (Nokomis, Illinois), born in Oconee, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Kessen and Anna Kessen (Rawley); her husband Lawrence E. Pieper; her children, Jean Ann Graden and Larry Pieper; and her sister Ruth Gross.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ulrich (Steve) of Litchfield and George Pieper of Washington, D. C.; her daughter-in-law Mona Pieper of Fair Grove, MO.; her sisters, Gertie Gross of Coulterville and Lenora Miller of Pana; and her grandchildren, Todd Graden, Toni Spainhour (Mark), Anna Certuche (Steve), Raelynn Craley (Greg), Dawn Pieper, Melissa Grosenheider (Tommy) and Megan Ervin (Zac). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to St. Louis Catholic Church or School in Nokomis, IL.
